Walking in you are welcomed by a stunning pink marble topped bar and vintage Italian 1950’s Murano glass chandeliers, reminicent of the Venetian drinking dens of the Grand Tour. The new lunch menu is available Monday to Friday between noon and 6pm, three courses for £31.50, every single dish is as sumptuous as the last. Highlights of the menu include the Salmon Tartare, Tortelloni with Caprino and Truffles and pastry perfect Pear and Ricotta Tart. When you book, ask for a table in the conservatory, in the winter, a blazing fire creates a beautiful, intimate atmosphere and in summer, the retracting roof opens to create an alfresco dining feel.
Designed by Martin Brudnizki the restaurant is now a firm favourite with locals and a must for visitors to the city, It’s the go to venue for a romantic first date or a birthday brunch, and you really want to impress Mum this year, Daphne’s are treating diners to a special Mother’s Day menu which includes the ‘Mamma Mia cocktail’, Passion fruit semifreddo and Amadei chocolate.
