Thinking of leaving the cooking to the experts this festive season? You won’t find a better place to be this Christmas, if fine dining is your desire. Dive into the magical atmosphere at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester to celebrate with family and friends.

Executive Chef Jean-Philippe Blondet and his creative team have curated a selection of menus for unforgettable celebrations. The exquisite menus encapsulate the party season in every dish, showcasing the very best of the seasonal produce.

On Christmas Eve, guests can feast on seasonal chestnuts and succulent duck with dishes such as the ‘Chestnut velouté, smoked eel, tuber melanosporum’ and the ‘Duck breast, gratinated salsify, citrus’.

The Christmas Day menu features the ‘Scottish Langoustine, Jerusalem artichoke, tuber melanosporum’ and the “Jaune des Landes” capon, truffled “caillette”, cranberries’, and to finish, the iconic “Bûche de Noël”, the ‘Yule Log our way’.

 

On New Year’s Eve, guests can dine the ‘Scallop/caviar’, the ‘Roasted Turbot, parsnip and red wine sauce’ and the ‘ Fillet of Denbighshire Venison, agria potato and black truffle mille-feuille’. To finish, the menu culminates with the very special ‘Chocolate delight’

 

 

To accompany the most refined dishes, Head Sommelier Ruben Desport has selected some of the best champagnes and wines.

For the rest of the Festive Season, friends and family can hold their private gatherings in the restaurant, choosing to book one of the restaurant’s private dining rooms; the intimate Salon Privé which seats up to 12 guests or the larger Salon Park Lane which accommodates up to 30 people. Guests can also choose the semi-private Table Lumière which, surrounded by a veil of 4,500 shimmering fibre optic lights, is an enchanting and magical dining experience for up to 6 people. Guests dining in Table Lumière have the option to choose from a rare selection of vintage Hermès crockery to create their table setting and make this experience unforgettable.

Booking details:

Festive Lunch Hour is served from the 20th of November to the 21st of December: 3-course menu includes 2 glasses of wine, coffee or tea, £75pp.

Christmas Eve dinner: 6-course menu £190pp, with optional wine pairing, £90pp.

Christmas Day lunch: 6-course menu with wine pairing, £370pp.

New Year’s Eve dinner: first sitting from 6pm, 5-course menu £230pp with optional wine pairing £95pp; second sitting from 7pm, 7-course menu with wine pairing £550pp.

The restaurant will be exclusively open between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, on the 27th, 28th and 29th of December.
Prices include taxes, exclude service charge.
