In 2009 Sandra Peet (former owner of Sports Specialty Store Skihut in Scheveningen/The Hague) and Lieke van den Berg (former owner and designer of Aphrodisiac Sport, fashionable skiwear for women) decided to set up a new brand. A fashion label for women, strong and innovative, but still very appealing for fashion- and sportsfanatics a like. At ISPO 2010, the highly anticipated first Goldbergh collection was presented to the international sportstrade.

Goldbergh offers a luxury sportswear collection for the active, yet fashionable woman. In winter, the collection has an emphasis on trendy skiwear, with matching casual items to complete the essential winter wardrobe. In Summer, the sportive look of the collection is perfect for both active or leisure time. The designermix of sport and fashion makes it equallly interesting for both fashion- and sportsretailers.

A new standard in luxury sportsfashion: ‘The Goldbergh Standard’

The Goldbergh collection is designed by Lieke van den Berg (1964), whose experience in the fashionbusiness exceeds more than 20 years. She is experienced in many areas (Children’s Wear, Outerwear, Jeans), but her main passion is sportsfashion. Lieke is the former owner of the fashionable sportswearlabel Aphrodisiac Sport.

A fanatic sportswomen herself, she knows what her clients need. Lieke: ‘I imagine what the modern woman wants to have in her suitcase when travelling to the slopes. From functional, yet fashionable clothing to trendy accessories and luxurious warm sweaters’.

Awardwinning retailer Sandra Peet (1967) was owner of De Skihut, a 3.000 m2 Sports Specialty Store in Scheveningen/Den Haag. She was voted Retailer of the Year in 2004 and De Skihut was voted European Sportsstore of the Year in 2005. Sandra has a keen eye for sportsfashion and business in general, reselling only the finest labels available. She is known as a trendsetter. Under her management, De Skihut grew from 5 to 120 employees. Her clients included major celebrities and the royal family of the Netherlands.
